FAQs

How much does an Eye Test cost?

Our Eye Tests are £30. This includes:

  • Detailed discussion of your symptoms and concerns, as well as any previous eye history and health issues.

  • Ocular muscle movement checks.

  • Ocular pressure.

  • Vision assessment and prescription check which include driving standard, computer and reading.

  • In depth ocular health check for glaucoma, diabetes and high blood pressure.

  • Visual field testing.

Can I check my prescription at home?

You can certainly check how your general vision is at home by checking each eye individually, looking at far and near targets. This can help ascertain the type of prescription you may need. However unfortunately the final prescription will need to be completed by a qualified Optometrist for accuracy, taking into account lifestyle and any previous prescriptions.

Do you deal with Emergency Eye Care?

Definitely! We are open for the community and have both the accreditations and experience to see you urgently and efficiently. It can be quite distressing when something is happening in the eye and we are here to help with all your concerns.
